As a master of fine art, Dennis has been sculpting in wood for many years.

Dennis was invited by an anthroposophical art gallery in the Jarna Community of Sweden to a virtual art show. We created several videos using his art and stories to share with them.

Some of Dennis more recent sculptures have been meditative storytelling pieces. Please enjoy.

“That” in the Land of Darkened Minds

In a land of very fine dust, peoples act out their differences to tragic results. A modern myth told through the sculpture work of Dennis Klocek.

I, a pilgrim

A one foot tall art piece tells the story of initiation on the path to spiritual clarity. The challenges and triumphs along the way are told through Dennis Klocek’s symbolic storytelling wooden sculpture.

Hello Dennis. It happened by chance that I found your page. I saw your video about your Madonna and Angel work and I am deeply impressed. It’s honesty will inspire my work. Thank you, Theodor.

Sitting in front of your work I was moved into the meditative space with which I was able to view these masterful carvings! The two stories fed me, and gave me hope in this time of such darkness. Thank you so much!

    Hello Dennis,

Your video tour of the Madonnas and Angels gives me a sense of calm and reverence, that manifests from the figures themselves, as well as the sacred space you create in sharing your work. Can’t help but recall that “form is motion come to rest”. I am inspired by the gestures of mother and child and the angels. I love how you release these forms from the wood, and how the qualities of the different woods represent the figures in various ways. Your work is a blessing.
