PREVIEW

The political, social, environmental, and economic issues of the present time are rooted in polarities engendered by abstract, cause-and-effect thinking. The perception of the flow of life as strings of abstractions results in a mass mind that is locked into endless cycles of unsolvable polarities. Rudolf Steiner likens this to “spelling”. What is necessary, he advises, is to learn to “read” the script of life rather than to “spell” it.  To accomplish this kind of esoteric reading a practice based on morphological perception is very useful. Inherited from the poet Goethe morphological perception allows a person to dissolve abstractions to perceive the hidden flow properties of living systems.

This workshop with Dennis Klocek will explore the roots of abstraction and then move towards morphological exercises that form the basis for the capacity to “read” the esoteric script.

Abstraction through inbreeding, reductionism, cause and effect, and synthetic substances.

  1. Explores the concept of an ‘esoteric script’ in depth, and how individuals must decipher this script for personal growth and evolution. This script is composed of personal experiences, obstacles, and symbols which have unique meaning only to the person experiencing them. Dennis emphasizes the need for understanding our ‘karma’ and our own personal obstacles, which are opportunities for evolutionary development. Throughout the lecture, Dennis intertwines with his explanations Eastern philosophies, the principles of alchemy, and the complexities of understanding symbolism.
  2. Focuses on the esoteric concept of perception through will and the evolution of the human being. Discusses the works of Rudolph Steiner and uses alchemical symbols to illustrate esoteric ideas such as distinguishing between personal and universal intent, the development of free will, and understanding the impact of one’s actions. He explains the concept of a life body and soul, and how strengthening the life body can lead to greater awareness and control of personal will.
  3. Explores the concept of dreams, and how they represent different aspects of the human experience such as the endocrine system, emotional and hormonal cascades, and how these subconscious explorations impact the person’s life. The broad concept revolves around the understanding of oneself through an exploration of dreams. Also discusses how the physical presence of objects like crystals can help in interpreting these dreams.
  4. Discusses the concept of will and the esoteric script as a representation of will in the life body. It explores the nature of urges, desires, and the challenges of transforming oneself. The importance of collaboration, surrender, and finding a higher source of will is emphasized. Additionally, the lecture touches on the significance of paradox and symbols in soul research.
  5. The lecture explores the concept of reading the esoteric script and the collaborative work with spiritual hierarchies to steer creation in a progressive direction. It delves into the transformative power of forming inner pictures and the importance of understanding the potential of human imagination. The lecture also touches upon the alchemical process of digestion and the symbolism of the pelican as a vessel for transformation.

Thank you for posting this one Ben. “Reading the Secret Script” has been a valued companion of late for helping to navigate life’s many challenges. With clear descriptions of what would otherwise seem very complicated and inaccessible, this course has been a primer for helping to develop soul flexibility where obstacles when assimilated can become tools for transformation and understanding the Self. Thank you, Dennis, for this gift of insight!

The goose has NEVER been in. Let me tell you the story how this koan started:

A great philosophical official, Riko, once asked the strange Zen Master, Nansen, to explain to him the old koan of the goose in the bottle.

“If a man puts a gosling into a bottle,” said Riko, “and feeds him until he is full-grown, how can the man get the goose out without killing it or breaking the bottle?”

Nansen gave a great clap with his hands and shouted, “Riko!”

“Yes, Master,” said the official with a start.

“See,” said Nansen, “the goose is out!”

    thanx dennis
