[4/1/2023 Handout updated with Glyphs – Thank you Daniel!]
In the yearly cycle the events of Holy Week can be the source of profound meditations on the relationship between pain and suffering on one hand and joy and gratitude on the other. Using indications from the work of Emil Bock on the daily events of Holy Week as a foundation, this workshop is composed of meditative pictures from alchemical sources of the planetary forces that serve as backdrop for the Christ drama. The focus of the work is to explore alchemical imagery that is in harmony with the Easter celebration of the victory of life over death.
- Palm Sunday – Old sun and new sun, prima materia, crucible exercise, astronomy of Easter
- Monday – Cursing the fig tree, divine fiat, old Saturn, Luciferic temptation and the Fall
- Tuesday – Christ and the Pharisees, John the Baptist, metanoia, little apocalypse, old sorcery
- Wednesday & Holy Thursday – Mercury, soul and spirit, Judas, Mary Magdalene, Pistis Sophia, eternal feminine
- Last Supper to Good Friday – whitening the salt, meditation, alchemical symbols of inner life, salt and ash
- Holy Saturday – tree of life, tree of knowledge, tree of true cross, Adam’s skull, harrowing of hell
- Easter Sunday – the mystery of the human phantom, gate of sun and moon exercise, Christ as Spirit of the Earth-humans as the tenth hierarchy

Greetings Ben,
Is it possible to get a scholarship for the Holy Week sessions?
Many blessings and thanks.
Gabriella
I am listening to the Alchemy of Holy Week. The handout does not appear to contain the glyphs Dennis is describing. I would love to have access to a visual of each of the glyphs he is describing.
Thank you!
Lorna
Hi Lorna, I have updated the handout with the glyphs.

I hope I understand what retort etc. means but without seeing it I doubt it. I know there is no visual and will be happy and work with what is available. Thank you making this available.
Hi Charlene,
A “retort” is used in lab work to distill substances. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retort
It looks similar to “a” in the handout, containing the plants.

Hi Ben, There is an error with lecture 5. Instead of what is printed above- Last Supper to Good Friday – whitening the salt, meditation, alchemical symbols of inner life, salt and ash- there is a four minute introduction to the course. I hope this gets resolved soon, its such an excellent course.
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl,
Please see your email for help logging back in to see the full lecture.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for trying to clean up the audio quality of Lecture 4 (Wednesday). Unfortunately I’m still having a really hard time understanding a lot of it. Is there any way a transcript could be included?
Other than this audio issue, I’m absolutely loving the lecture series. Thank you so much to you and Dennis.
Blessings
Sarah
Hi Sarah,
Please see your email for help with your question.
Ben
Hi Ben, We were listening tonight via my browser and then the recording (number 5 stopped. I cannot find the link any longer. I am not terribly computer savvy. I would appreciate some help to get a link or something
Hi Beth,
I replaced the audio with cleaned up versions, and that might be causing your issue. Please see your email for help logging back in to listen to the full lecture again.
Ben
Thank you Ben for all your efforts. I am really enjoying the lectures and have learned a lot.
Dear friends from the holy week, I have a question about the emergence of the divine feminine. When Dennis says about the divine feminine moving from west to east. A long ago in a Lakota gathering I attended, the elders spoke of the four winds, and the keepers of the four directions. Something about the east having lost the ability to keep the eastern traditio n. This was a while back, and in one of the holy days it is mentioned about the divine feminine coming to the east. Feel free to share any insights, thank you.
Dear Ben,
Warmest thanks for this amazing process from me here in south Australia. A very big thank you to Dennis and for your part in making the Alchemy of Holy Week available. It is such a gift.
I need help with one aspect. I entirely think it is me not registering but I kind of lost track of which alchemical symbol to take into sleep and which part of Valentin Weigel’s Alchemical Tree of Good and Evil to relate to the next morning – I think after Wednesday of Holy Week. Would it be at all possible to clarify that for me?
With much appreciation for Dennis and yourself. Anne
